Our Partnerships

As the only 24-hour shelter for children in Kentucky, Arbor Youth plays a critical role in supporting our community.  We are working with them to help create a support system for those who lost their families.

Blue Grass Community Foundation

Seedleaf

Community gardens in urban settings are a necessity today.  Too many urban areas have become food desserts with the closest sources offering unhealthy foods that perpetuate health problems in low income communities.  Seedleaf has taken the charge of building gardens throughout Lexington providing both food and horticultural training.

Nourish LEX

The mission of the Murry Foundation is to eliminate poverty.  We believe that starts with stopping poverty before it begins. With that goal in mind, we partnered with FoodChain, Keeneland, VisitLEX and the Blue Grass Community Foundation to create income opportunities for individuals displaced by COVID-19 in the service industry and serve meals to those in need.

Town Branch Fund

Town Branch Park is overseen by a committed group of civic leaders and philanthropists who joined together to advance its vision. Together, the board and staff are working with public space experts and community members to develop the design, programming plan, and governance structure to transform vacant lots into an inclusive, dynamic, and uncommonly beautiful green space that reflects the spirit of Lexington.

Julietta Market

The Julietta Market is a space for opportunity, for growth, for connection - to be a place for, by, and about its neighbors. NoLi CDC has been leading this project as a response to the so many and significant needs our neighbors have voiced. This non-profit public market will feature 60 small business kiosks, 20 pop-up spaces, community art gallery, 6 food stalls, a shared kitchen, and event space.

Lancaster County Community Foundation

The Lancaster County Community Foundation plays a critical role in the Lancaster community by emboldening the extraordinary individuals and community benefit organizations (CBOs) that already exist all over their county. We aim to provide both.
